Anvil by Sweatpants
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Character (C) Psion 2016
Art (C) Sweatpants 2015
Yes, I know "shouldn't he be wearing gloves?" Yes, he should, realistically heated metals reach temperatures well over the melting point of the average metalworker and Anvil lives in a cyberpunk world without superpowers. However at the time this was drawn, it was late, both artist and commissioner were tired, and the commissioner also had six shots of alcohol less then six hours prior to the stream. =P
-------------------------
Anvil felt the sweat dripping down his face, matting his blond hair, as he worked in the forge to assemble a new sword for the knights of Aristo. Metal had returned to prominence in the Post-Peak Oil world. Metal was plentiful, recyclable, and generally held up the expanded waistlines of the happily bloated corporate citizens better then plastic. As such there was always a demand for Big Tools that had a talent for shaping metal like Anvil, and the Irish horse had no shortage of work from Aristo. Maybe once this blade could cool he'd stop for a big sandwich and an equally large tankard of cold beer...
