Dinner Date by Sebastian Nightingale
My third and final "writing for art" trade pic from Sebastian Nightingale, this time with one of my first couples in Adipose City. Soy and Thunder are a bit of an odd couple in the Adipose City universe, Soy the panda is an incorporated Big Tool employed by the PanAsia megacorp while Thunder her human boyfriend is a freelance one that bounces between Taco King and Burger World as his primary employers. They met largely by happenstance but have been largely inseparable since then.

[i] It had been awhile since Soy and Thunder managed to get some time to themselves, the couple had been caught up doing their own things for awhile so it was nice to finally have some time to themselves. Going out, the two took the subway downtown to the commercial heart of Adipose City. Wandering through the LED halo of brightly colored signs advertising a dizzying variety of restaurants and eateries, Soy held Thunder's hand as she lead him towards something that caught her eye. A Burger World franchise was having a "Slider Challenge." About an hour later, Thunder found himself sitting on Soy's lap and slowly coaxing the last slider into his swollen stomach. The panda smiled, running her hands through his soft flesh, whispering encouraging into his ear. "Come on, just one more bite and we can switch places at the next restaurant." she cooed softly....
