A commission done long ago for one of my collaborators, Phillip Vellasquez. I did a story commission way back in 2009 for him called "Aquarium Blues" which this picture illustrates a scene from it. The main character runs afoul of a demon girl who twists her wish in a very unexpected way.

I did a whole bunch of transformation stories for Phil back then, which I am thinking of combining into one or more collections, which he approved of if I ever got around to it. Some of the mainstream novels I have up, like DRYAD, MARIONETTE, SELKIE, or CIRCE'S PETS, came from his old story commissions. I was thinking of maybe using this drawing or a variant of it as a basis for a cover, which would be fully colored and painted. What would you think?
