This isn't Sofurry, this is a poorly made knock off that only has the name in common with the old site.
The UI is a mess and hard to use, no shouts, journals or votes, substandard story reader. This site is like something out of the 90's.
Its unergonomic UI and lack of features really make it feel that old. The design looks like a child came up with it.
2 years of beta and 6 months of down time and this is what we got? A downgrade.

If the site is so supposedly awful, then why are you even here?
There's only a handful of people working with limited resources; I'm sure given time they'll work the old features back in. Meanwhile, you should really cut them some slack. Or better yet, contribute to help them out.
Believe it or not, some of us are here for the art and stories and community. The rest is really just dressing.

The story format is bad so who will read them? Art? both IB and FA have better lay outs and more traffic.
FA has over 4 times the members of SF and IB has twice the members.
Let you in on a little secret, Toumal has done this before with SF 1.0 and after 6 whole months of that site being live he came to the same realisation the rest of us reached in a week.
The site was scrapped and replaced. I hope that happens again.

PS.
I told Toumal about the problems with SF 1.0 sixteen years ago and he claimed at the time he got zero warning people were so unhappy.
This is why I make a point of saying it, partly to clue them in but mostly so they can't use that excuse again.
There's a difference between ignorance and ignoring something.
I can be a lot less polite about it, this is me trying to help.
