Refund Policy

At SoftTent, we are committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy applies to all digital products (WordPress plugins, themes, and related software) purchased through softtent.com. All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all premium digital products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase date.

Eligibility for Refund

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The refund request must be made within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.
  • You should have attempted to resolve any technical issues with our support team before requesting a refund. We want to help you get the most from our products.
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request is appreciated (though not strictly required).
  • The product must not have been used in violation of our license terms.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Purchases made more than 30 days ago.
  • Custom development services (unless otherwise agreed in writing as part of a project contract).
  • Subscription renewal payments (you may cancel future renewals at any time, but the current billing period is non-refundable after 30 days from the original purchase).
  • Products obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] or use our contact form.
  2. Include your order number (or the email address used for the purchase) in your message.
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your refund request.
  4. Our support team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

Refund Processing

Once your refund request is approved:

  • The refund will be processed by Paddle within 5-7 business days.
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

After a Refund

Upon issuing a refund, your license key will be deactivated and you must cease using the product immediately. This includes removing the product from any websites where it is installed. Any access to product updates and support will also be revoked. If you wish to use the product again in the future, a new purchase will be required.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. When you cancel, your license will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation. Cancellation is different from a refund - cancelled subscriptions are not automatically refunded but will not renew.
