1. Detail a plot/adventure that you'd like to take an active role in. I wish that there was a way that I could help protect Gwen from some of the situations that she has to put herself in just to do her job every night. I worry about her a lot.

2. How good a student are/were you? What is/was your favorite and least favorite subject? I was an ok student, but I didn't really have much of an interest in school. I always wanted to be a singer in a rock band, so, after I got my diploma, I ran off to New Orleans. I only came here because I wanted a fresh start away from anything resembling home. School really wasn't for me. The only thing that I did well in was Choir. If I had to pick a least favorite, I'd say English, but I didn't care for most of it.

3. Where do you work? How do you feel about your job? If you don't work, what do you do for money? Technically, I'm a trust fund baby. (I hate that phrase.) I have an account set up by my parents, plus I inherited a lot when my grandparents died a few years ago. My grandmother wanted to be a singer on Broadway and encouraged me to follow my own dreams of being a singer. As for my job, I'm the lead singer in Suicide Messiahs, which I love doing. Everyone in the band is great, so it's probably the best job in the world.

4. What genre of books do you like to read? Since I don't have a job (I've becoming a bit of a house wife during the day), I do a lot of reading. I read a lot of the classics in literature, plus I like spy novels, especially old James Bond novels. I have a lot of first editions of those.

5. What's your favorite snackfood? Oreo cookies with milk.

Gwen likes to tease me mercilessly about this, but I like to knit when I have the spare time. I actually have a lot of spare time, though, so I knit a good bit. She keeps asking me to make her a sweater with a kitten or something on the front.

It never really was my thing to do drugs. I've seen plenty of friends go down the deep end with them, so I decided from an early age to not bother.

The engagement ring that Gwen gave me.

Florists. Why do flowers cost so much as soon as you mention the word 'wedding?' No one would ever call me frugal, but florists are of the devil.

I'm thankful for Gwen. I'm thankful that she's alive (which is no small feat, considering), and I'm thankful that she wants to marry me. I'm thankful that, mostly, the wedding appears to be about to go off without a hitch. I'm thankful that my family is (mostly) behaving themselves this week. I'm thankful that my sister is willing to shave her armpits and legs for my wedding, and, something that is truly a Thanksgiving miracle, willing to lay off the patchouli for a day. Why do hippies think that this stuff smells good?
