We’re a different kind of web agency, focused on purpose-driven clientele:

collage of social ink at work

We’ve worked with universities and educational organizations across America, including Columbia, CUNY, The New School, NYU, Rutgers, and the University of Washington (UW), as well as in-progress work with Harvard University and Princeton University.

As the cornerstones of the nonprofit landscape, we design, develop, maintain and support foundations and philanthropic organizations. Incorporating branding work and expert user interface, we build both new homes on the web as well as microsites, dedicated initiatives, and grant-making interfaces for new applicants. Explore our work with the J.M. Kaplan Fund, The Pinkerton Foundation, and the MacArthur Foundation, to name a few!

Cornerstones of a just civil society, we help activist nonprofits like City Harvest feed hungry New Yorkers in need, maintain nonprofit networks with the Orr Group, connect community players with the Red Hook Hub and build data-rich sites for NGOs like the United Nations to help its 200,000+ members smoothly navigate their pensions.

We believe in the people power of unions like the Health Professionals and Allied Employees bringing tri-state nurses together, Hand in Hand: the Domestic Employers Network, the National Young Farmers Coalition, and the American Federation of Musicians, the world’s largest union of musicians. These sites, like the United Steelworkers Local 4-200 union, help members negotiate the labor world and ensure a fair living and fair care. Work with journalism projects such as Waging Nonviolence and political organizing platforms such as Working Families rounds out our work bringing power to the people.

We have a long history of work focusing on cities and the built environment, working with architects, designers, planners, and other stewards of the cityscape. From virtual green spaces for city parks like Fort Tryon Park and Freshkills Park, to coalitions such as NACTO and the Global Designing Cities Initiative, to architectural and design practices like ASAP, we’re working to build better spaces and places, online and off.

We’re passionate about bringing data to bear on strong social justice issues, like MacArthur’s Safety and Justice Challenge and the Misdemeanor Justice Project, at the same time we help places like Vera Institute of Justice and the Pinkerton Foundation engage activists on the ground and present annual reports and online journals, resources, and whitepapers.

Marketing and resource-based websites for mental health care providers, community outreach organizations, therapists and psychologists and health practioners.

We’re grounded in an appreciation for art and design, from the high profile of work of Julian Schnabel and Tri-Lox Designs, to museums and galleries such as NYU’s Grey Gallery and the Skycraper Museum. We work hand in hand with performance groups as well, with online homes for the Concert Artists Guild, Highbridge Voices, and branding for the Center for Ballet and the Arts.

Partnering with interfaith organizations in New York and beyond, helping foster service and purpose-driven work across diverse communities.

Our growing interfaith clientele includes an incredibly diverse group of dedicated organizations, from NYDIS crucial disaster relief work to CMSNY, National Council of Jewish Women NY (NCJW NY), and Catholic Migration Studies.

A vibrant cornerstone of our nonprofit client constituency is our work with organizations serving local communities and those bringing cultural highlights from across the globe to New York City and beyond. We value these contributions to the world’s cultural capital, both from grassroots efforts and from the echelons of the art world and international culture.
