SMS Mac

SMS Mac is a complement for Mac's Contacts application to send text messages from the application's interface, so long as you purchase the program's required minimum balance of €5.

The cost of the messages is 10 cents for all locations, including other countries, and 10 euros for the program's annual subscription. Messages can be sent to many addressees simultaneously. Remember that the limit for a single message is 160 characters.

SMS Mac is compatible with AppleScript, which means you can schedule your message to be sent once a certain condition is met – every time an event takes place in iCal, for example.
