Daniel leads our product development initiatives, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry to create innovative and practical solutions for farmers.

Joey leads our client onboarding process and maintains weekly contact with all cane growers, ensuring a smooth delivery of the SmartCane service.

Samwel is our country representative for Kenya. With a background in both agronomy and extension Samwel makes sure that SmartCane service delivery remains top notch and rooted in the soil.

As an Agronomic Geo-Data Specialist, Dimitra maintains, and improves the SmartCane backend. Her focus is improving our overall performance, from field to screen, through digital development, and field-based validation.

Annemieke works as financial and HR manager for SmartCane. She drives the execution of the HR related tasks and works on the financial management of the projects.

NaomiClarah is our field representative for Tanzania. With a background in agronomy and data collection, she ensures that client needs are brought to light and that service delivery fits the local needs.

Jordi oversees SmartCane’s work in Mexico, engaging with sugarcane organizations and advancing technology for positive social and environmental impact.

Yvonne is our country director for Tanzania. There, she leads our efforts in supporting clients with the SmartCane service and ensuring smooth regional operations.

Nelson is a GIS and data expert. He is responsible for data collection, analysis and storage. He also works on managing IRIPO – a communication platform that delivers agricultural extension services.

Jelle specializes in digital solutions and user experience, ensuring that our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and tailored to the needs of farmers.
