HeyTap Shelf

HeyTap Shelf is an app that allows you to quickly access a host of information from the comfort of your home screen. To open the Shelf, you just have to swipe down on any free area of the screen. As soon as you do this, you will directly access your personalized space, with all the widgets you have added.

Customize your Shelf

The first thing you should do when you open HeyTap Shelf is customize its appearance. By default, the app will show you several square widgets: the clock, weather forecast, step counter and notepad. From the options tab in the upper right corner of the app, you can customize the appearance of all these widgets and add many more. You can create widgets for the device's audio recorder, image gallery, Spotify or remote control devices. The choice is yours.

Several options for each widget

Some HeyTap Shelf users are unaware that almost all the available widgets have several different modes. When you select one of the widgets, such as the image gallery widget, you can swipe from left to right to choose between various formats. The default format is a single-space square, but you can choose between a rectangular format and a large square format (with four spaces). As a result, you can prioritize your most used widgets, increasing the usability of the Shelf.
