The ORION Slider is a universal slider, designed for filmmakers looking for an extremely stable, but portable solution.

Battle-tested features of the ATLAS system provide a smooth and lightweight solution for every scenario.

CONSTRUCTION

The body of the slider is made of aluminium, which guarantees stiff construction and optimized weight. Fixed-length design allows to simplify the side brackets and to keep the weight as low as possible.
The ORION is almost twice as light as the heavy-duty ATLAS Modular system, yet it maintains the same rail span and motion stability.

Large openings in the side brackets allow easy operation and maintenance, increase rigidity and reduce the weight.

The slider is available in three different lengths: 100cm, 150cm, and 180cm.

QUICK MOUNTING

The slider is equipped with plenty of 1/4" and 3/8” threads, which makes mounting it on a tripod extremely easy. Optional quick-mounting kits are designed to perfectly level the slider on any tripod with 75mm or 100mm bowl adapter.

ORION’s adjustable feet are designed for creative rigging the slider using lighting equipment, as the outer feet diameter is 1-1/8" (“junior” spigot for “combo” stands), and the inner diameter is 5/8" (“baby” spigot for "C-stands").


PERFECT FOR MANUAL OPERATION

Due to custom-designed silicone wheels, the ORION Slider is extremely smooth and silent when operated by hand. A wide variety of available mounting solutions (with many of them included with the slider) allow you to use your favourite fluid head with any camera.

EASY MOTORIZED SOLUTIONS

The ORION Slider can be easily equipped with a motor to create smooth and repeatable automated moves. Combined with a remote head, the ORION is a perfect solution for filmmakers who require a flexible motion control system on all sets: in the studio or remote location, shooting an interview, live show, or product packshots.

A wide variety of available accessories, such as wireless control, or full integration with Slidekamera’s control system (with the Kairos controller or Slideye 2.0 software), make this slider the most universal tool for every filmmaker.
