Home alone AGAIN!

Hello Possums,
Well what is there to report, no work today. My Boss needs a day off cos he was having chest pains. I hope he will be okay he's such a nice person.

I've been learning a whole bunch of new songs on guitar and I hope to improve drastically this summer. I'm also teaching jess how to play. I can't wait to Jam with her. I know she'd be really good if she just practiced.

It's hot again today It was 40oC yesterday here... *wipes brow*

I really want to go to the beach but I hate going alone... I want Jess to come but she has to work damn it!

oh well perhaps I'll do some work on the garden.

Love you all!

Whine Whine Whine

Greetings my friends and fellow Rooogies.

Something has hindered my updating of late and I am the first to admit that I know not what it is. An imaginary barrier perhaps or a fear of being judged as a big baby for whining and complaining, for only awful things seem to be befalling me of late. Alas here I am, updating. Forgive my absence.

Stay the cause my Rooogy comrades and for all you other people be well and walk lightly on the Earth.

I love you all.

NEWS FLASH!

Today was actually pretty interesting.

Jessica and I visited Nana Wilkes (Jessica's Mum's Mum). She was the first person I met from Jessica's family and I love her as if she were my own Nana. If you didn't already know Jessica's mother doesn't approve of me, but Nana Wilkes loves me!
We played 'yatzi' all day and into the early hours of the evening.

There is something special about visiting your elders. Each and every time you meet you learn a little more about your heritage.

------------------------------------------NEWS FLASH------------------------------------------

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for a Sleeplessscribe special report!

MUST GO!

A New Day

As the sun rose with the new day so too did my spirits. I was getting better. I put my hand to my head and realised there was no pain. My heart leaped into my throat and I jumped to my feet. OUCH! I forgot about my damned kidney.... yes that is still tender.

There is not a whole lot more to report.

Today Jess is going to a baptism. I don't believe in God so I think I'll be sitting this one out.

I wonder what I will do today?

Catching up!

Hail friends and fellow Rooogies.

I have this evening just passed returned from my far-flung travels abroad. Alas I return wounded.
On Saturday Flour Power and took the precarious journey unto the Wollon of Gong.
We met our Friends (Julz & Lawry) and spent the day doing all manner of strange things. Uni-cycle riding, playing boulder-dash etc.
In the evening we watched V for Vendetta and Wolf Creek, Wolf Creek = gore fest.

In the morning however, for reasons unknown to me I awoke in agony. NO EXAGGERATION! ! ! AGONY!
I could hardly speak I felt as though a barbed spear had been thrust into my abdomen and was being twisted about.
Jezamay called an Ambulance and I was whisked away to hospital. It was all a blur from that point.

I remember a Doctor holding me still and a nurse swearing whilst trying to insert a long needle into my arm.

Then another.

Then another.

Black out.

I awoke for a moment to see I had a drip in my arm. The pain was simply horrendous. I writhed about on my bed and then a doctor called "Another 10 of morphine!"...

Lights went out again.

"It's okay baby." Someone was stroking my head. It was my Jezamay.

Pain...

Another dose of morphine...

Black out

The last time I awoke I could hardly move the world seemed muffled and my arms felt they were made of lead.

The pain had subsided somewhat.

A nurse entered and informed me I had a kidney stone and that I had torn the tube that connects my Kidney to my bladder. An embarrassing procedure ensued... Doctor entered and informed the worst was yet to come...

Anyways this damn post is getting rather long so I'll cut it short... lots of blood... lots of pain... lots of needles and morphine...

I went home to Julz and Lawry's house and stayed there another night... the next day Jess and I came home and here I remain. The pain still plagues me...

If I get bad pain again it means and I quote "A ruptured kidney, if this happens it is IMPERITIVE that you call an ambulance and come straight here. If you delay you could get Septicaemia and die."

Eeeeek!

*Am a little frightened*

Hey my beloved Rooogy Pals!

Firstly I would like to say that I hope Adriane enjoyed our little chat last night… It was strange to finally talk to you… I hope I didn’t sound to nasal with my cold n all.

I think all the Rooogies must endeavor to (by any means possible) procure mics so we can all talk together!

In other news… Today I actually put the Rooogy cause into action. I hope I did us proud . . .

Love you guys!

Crappy 1st Day.

Hey guys.

I've had two pretty crappy days. Yesterday my Credit Card was overdrawn by some internet company that I've never heard of. I spent most of the day trying to figure out what to do and didn't get it sorted out until today.

Today was also my first day at college. I expected a whole bunch of Rooogy peoples at a historical college but I was quite mistaken.

Hoping you guys are doing better then me.

*BELCH*

Hail my fellow writers, Rooogies and all you other people…

This weekend bore a strange mix of emotions for me, I was incredibly happy to spend some quality time with my little bundle of joy (Sammy)! However, my poor old Mum is really quite ill… If of course I (or for that matter the doctors) knew what exactly what were wrong with her I could share the burden but alas…

Sam and I decided, in the excruciating 45oC heat, that we would escape to the mountains. The Watagan State Forest is a temperate rainforest and is just beautiful, the mountains, the animals… they Icy cold rivers. We splashed at great length in the latter. Afterwards we decided to explore some very VERY old caves… they seemed to go on forever we couldn’t help getting lost in our imagination.

Sam told me a story about a Dragon called X’raken and the township of Navia. He is always imagining little fantasies and stories. This one however was quite astounding! I am actually going to use some of it in my writing! I am so proud of him.

Anyways I shall update at greater length tomorrow for I am currently a little tipsy and am having trouble hitting the correct keys!

Until then my good fellows…

A Sad Day.

Friends and fellow Rooogies

I have to leave in a couple of hours, I’m dreading the trip! In the end though it is worth it for I get to see my Sammy!

I fear however this trip shall be a somewhat solemn one for my mother is in hospital. The doctors don’t know what’s wrong with her yet but it isn’t looking good… I love my Mum she’s the type of Mum that you can tell anything! Tomorrow I could walk in and say “Mum I have to leave the country because I’m involved in a huge conspiracy” and she would answer “You be careful, and don’t forget to write” then she’d probably rummage through her locked chest and procure a few thousand dollars to see me on my way. She will always stand by me and I love her for it. She’s such a strong woman.

I will be back on Sunday (depending) for I have to work on Monday. I will once again be missing you guys and thinking of you.

Stay the cause!

Hey guys!

Since my computer crashed I’ve found a hard disk copy of my writing, although, it is from a long time ago (approximately 4 chapters ago). I have lost everything of the most recent chapters and was wondering if I could beseech you to search your MSN histories for any trace I may have sent you. I would be eternally great full for any little snippet!

Thanking you in advance my Rooogy pals!
