Title: Tale as Old as Time

Subject: A chronicle of Rumpelstiltskin and Belle's relationship
Description: Welcome to the most ambitious fanmix I've ever had the will to create! I've put together a compilation of 124 songs, divided into eight mixes, which follows the evolution of Rumpelstiltskin and Belle's relationship from Once Upon a Time. The mix combines songs I've used in previous Rumbelle mixes, songs I've fallen in love with from mixes made by other fans, as well as some new songs I've discovered. This was a true labor of love, so I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers for everything aired so far, including the finale. A few songs may be NSFW - two drop the f-bomb and two of Lacey's songs are rather...racy.

As a special note, this mix is apparently too long for LJ's entry length, so the last two sections are in a second post.

- Chapter Five: Never Never Land - After a bitter farewell, Rumpelstiltskin leaves on a suicide mission, but eventually learns never to discount Belle's faith: He will see her again.
- Chapter Six: Death, Life, Love - Rumpelstiltskin makes the ultimate sacrifice, but Belle and Neal never give up on him. Death is conquered, but at a terrible price that leaves madness in its wake. Can love conquer all in the end?
- Epilogue: And They Lived... - There will always be battles to fight, and the worst may be yet to come, when the truth behind a dagger is revealed. But for now, they can enjoy the fairytale.

Title: The Final Frontier: An Autobiographical Fanmix
Notes: ​Created for the "Meet the Mixer" theme at waywardmixes. All songs reflect my personal life and interests.

When I started making this mix, I ended up with over 30 songs, and I realized that was simply going to be too cumbersome, both for me and for everyone listening. So instead of doing something serious, I choose to tell my life in CRACK instead. Below you'll find songs from such illustrious artists as Jem and the Holograms and Cookie Monster, as well as Sailor Moon, Ernest in Love, Beauty and the Beast, and - of course - Star Trek.

Believe it or not (and you probably won't, after looking at the titles), all these songs have very deep meanings for me and represent extremely significant points of my life. I'll be discussing those with each song. But if you ignore all my musing and just listen to the songs...well, let's just say we're all mad here.

Title:The Rondo of Love and Death

Summary: After Regina informs Rumpelstiltskin of Belle’s demise, he travels to the underworld and confronts Death in order to learn of her fate.

AN: Since I'm sure 99.9% of people reading this will be from the OUaT fandom, this is just a note to say that although the fic is technically a crossover, you don’t need to know much about the musical to follow it. In short, a young Bavarian princess named Elisabeth falls to her death while walking a tightrope, but when she appears in the underworld, Death immediately falls in love with her and cannot take her life. Instead, he returns her to her family, vowing to make her love him as he loves her. She later goes on to marry the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph, but his mother, the Archduchess Sophie, makes her life a living hell. Death visits Elisabeth throughout her life, attempting to convince her that she would be happier with him, even taking her youngest daughter from her during a visit to Hungary, and later encouraging her son, the Crown Prince Rudolph, to commit suicide. After an unhappy life spent mainly roaming across the world in her desire to be free, Elisabeth is assassinated by an Italian anarchist, Luigi Lucheni, and she gives into her love for Death. All these events (except for Death being personified, obviously), are based on fact and occurred in the 19th Century.
