Movin on Up...

I pass into June under high, breezy San Diego clouds that keep transitioning into random shapes of anxiety.

We didn't pay our rent for June, and refuse to. But now that it IS June, and it's apparent that no rent is heading her way, what will our idiot landlord think of? I completely expect for her to come knocking at the door, unannounced, to retrieve her money. Hopefully, however, it will be after Thursday, when we're all cleared out.

She can knock all she wants, we're giving our keys to the bank that takes back her house next week (apparently, they can offer up to $1500 for them, which would bring us to just about even).

The countdown to fat camp is initiated (if I call it "Fat Camp", it's not so scary). I'm starting to think things like, "...in two more Mondays, I'll be sworn in."

I'm a big "number of sleeps until" counter.

However, to see me before I go (and to help with the thing she adores the most... CLEANING), itsmemario is flying down this week. I hope to clean and unpack quickly, so we can lounge by the pool at my new condo and pretend we're on vacation.

Just a couple more days of this hell hole, then cue transition.
