Setup station coords, can use resection
Calculates bearing and distance to set out points
Save points for later use
Drainage calculator, calculates rings and brickwork for manhole, pipe lengths, backfill and laser grade for runs
Reference Line - calcs points along a line or arc for given chainages. Can set offset left or right and crossfall for road alignments.
GPS - rough estimates of area and perimeter using GPS. Start tracking and walk around a field to get the area.
Note: Limited to accuracy of GPS
