Conversion: a possible feature?
The Scribd API provides a JavaScript-based method of “converting” supported documents on a Web page to Scribd iPaper and replacing links to said documents with the embedded iPaper versions. This is the tool called “QuickSwitch“.
Our Simpler iPaper plugin may be capable of adding this functionality to blogs, although such a new feature would necessitate an options page, heavier code, database/options table access, and a major version number change.
Although this is certainly an interesting idea and a possibility, is it something that should be considered as a feature of Simpler iPaper? I can certainly see uses of such a feature.
