About the challenge

SillyHacks is a 12-hour hackathon where beginners are encouraged to utilize skills learned in our SillyHacks workshops as well as existing skills to create a project. Teams and individual participants are encouraged to collaborate, create meaningful impact, and challenge other teams.

Requirements

What to Build

Feel free to build whatever you like! We will be providing workshops throughout the day for you to learn and apply to your projects :D

What to Submit

  • You MUST submit a GitHub link
  • To showcase your project you must do a live presentation (3-5 mins) for 2-3 pairs of judges in SUB Ballroom (5th Floor), and answer a live QnA (max 2 mins) from the judges
  • Only at least 1 member is needed to present the project, the entire team does not need to present for the project to qualify
