A little of this, a little of that

Virgo:: The billboard I saw said, "Develop a recreational habit that won't show up in your urine." I didn't catch what product it was advertising, but there was an image of a hang-glider, so I figure it was promoting outdoor sports as a preferable alternative to taking drugs. The billboard message happens to be excellent advice for you, Virgo. In the coming weeks, you'll be wise to seek liberating adventure and explore new modes of natural fun. Doing so will steer you away from a path that could lead to messy adventure and decadent fun.

-- Not really sure what to make of this week's horoscope. I have lots of recreational habits, and none of them involve drugs. Quite a few of them involve decadence and endorphin highs. But all this talk of adventure and exploration reminds me... yancentric, ciretose, findingjuliet, interdisciple.... I was talking with J earlier this week and telling him about our Burkitsville/Harper's Ferry camping and tubing extravaganza. I was thinking that we should totally plan a reprise this summer. I know I have parts of June and July free-- what say you?

-- My main page counter hit 25,000 this morning. That's a nice round number, don'tcha think?

-- Good troupe and solo practice last night. I've been gorging myself on youtube vids of Mira Betz lately, trying to get a lyrical quality into my solo dancing. Asharah said it best when she said Mira's dancing defies categorization-- she "fuses the dignity of tribal with the grace of classic cabaret." I've also decided that in the next year or so, I want to take cabaret and hip hop classes, with a refresher course of tai chi.

-- Let's talk makeup. It is time to buy new stuff, as my fall stuff is almost completely used up. I forsee a Sephora run in my future.... I need new foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, and a blending/eyeliner brush combo. So far, I've got my eye on the Stila Summer Eye Palette and the Too Faced Beauty Wardrobe. I am such a sucker for palettes.
