So, I'm alive and all. I spent all yesterday being sick with a sinus infection. As it is, I sound like a husky transvestite. How I wish I were kidding.
It's been a fun near-48 hours of peppermint oil diffusers, endless cups of herbal tea, Advil cold and sinus, and moisturized tissues. My poor nose is worn out. The worst part is the nights- the air conditioner in our apartment pumps out the dryest air-- I feel like I'm breathing in daggers. Also, my face feels like a beach ball.
Blech.
Anywho, yesterday was 3 years for Mike and I. We celebrated with a nap on the couch, being on duty, and then with me waking him up every hour as I coughed up a lung or blew my nose like a tuba. Ahhh, the romance of it all.
But he brought up his I-Book to play me a song- Schoolhouse Rock's Three is a Magic Number, and he brought stargazer lilies (my favorite!). With the lilies were these tiny buds growing off multi-branched stalks. They're like bluebells, only smaller and fuchsia. Anybody know what they are?
The downside? I have stargazer lilies in my room, and I can't smell them.
