You know how sometimes you get to really like somebody, and things are great for awhile.... then they say something completely and unapologetically fucked up, and you realize you just can't be around them ever again? I'm experiencing the fan version of that right now. And here are the people currently on that list:

Why? Because these rapist-apologist pieces of shit are all petitioning to have Roman Polanski let out of jail. (Source one. Source two.) You guys, I am hoping and praying that this is bullshit, but honest to god y'all. He drugged and raped a child. Then he admitted it, and fled before sentencing. He's a rapist piece of shit and a fucking coward to boot. His ~~artistic genius~~ does not fucking change that. How the victim feels 30 years later (and truly, reports on that are conflicting) does not fucking change that. The fact that it took the US 30 years to fucking extradite his ass because he'd been cowering on EU soil does not fucking change that. He raped a child and then fled sentencing. End. Of. Story.

-- Olive has some sort of eye thing goin' on. No goopiness. Runny as hell, and red in one eye, which she keeps squinting. She looks like a pirate. This happened quite literally overnight. She's still eating fine and playing fine and snuggling fine, so unless something major happens (like she can't open her eye or she gets goopy or her behavior is altered), we're going to assume it's a kitten cold and just make her extra comfortable. We already started feeding her separately so she doesn't have food anxiety and we know she's eating plenty. But if she gets worse, she'll go to the vet for antibiotics.

-- Mim is still sneezing and occasionally splattering blood everywhere. We are very happy we ScotchGuarded the couch and have a great pet-ick cleaner. The vet said her nose is just raw, so unless this lasts a significant time, we just have to assume it will run its course. Olive and Mim get to be in the bathroom with us during showertime to take advantage of the steam.

-- Nox figured out how to get on top the fridge. He was likely looking for treats, the heffalump.

-- My vet bills own my ass. Criminy, being a good samaritan is expensive.
