'Fo reals. I am torn between the three awesome going-out options I've been presented with this evening and my need for sleep, rest, and frugality. Buying costuming is expensive and requires budgeting, and that doesn't leave me with an overabundance of cash.

On the plus, Flissy and I had a good status/planning meeting last night. We talked about our dance goals for the next two years both individually and together, and we decided on a weekly practice program that I think will be good and allow us to develop a "portfolio" of improv and choreo combo pieces that will benefit us as a duo.

Personally, I want to get back into regular classes. I'm looking to take with Brooke if/when she starts up, and with Asharah when I can. I want to do the ATS hangouts that have been rumored. I also want to start planning to budget for next year's workshops since I'm sad that Triboriginal wasn't even on my radar when I could have started planning for it, and I was out of town for this year's PURA. So a better-planned dance calendar is also a priority for me. I want to take lots of classes with instructors whose dance I enjoy and respect. And Flissy and I both agreed that we want to get scimitars around Christmastime. Maybe it's being around awesome swordtastic dancers like Romka and Naimah, but we now both have the burning desire to learn to dance with swords on our heads. I've got my eye on the Kult of Athena Baladay Scimitar when it comes back in stock.
