Lots of things on my mind today. Just emailed my boss about potentially going to Palo Alto / San Francisco during the first week of July. That's a whole logistical mess that I hope can be sorted out. I'm nervous that Melodia hasn't come back online after TribalFest, and while I've found a back-up for pants, I have not yet found a source for a choli I can wear a bra under, and I need one for me and Abby. I'm giving Melodia two more days to pop back up before I take emergency measures.

Despite that, it was a good weekend. Spent quality time with Brandie & Bart, attended Flissy's birthday cha cha fiesta, had dinner with my parents and went to Skyler's grandfather's birthday party. I got next to nothing crafty done. My schedule for June is getting more and more packed, and I need to make sure I have my eye on everything to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Commissions and haflas and trips and rehearsals and classes... this is shaping up to be my busiest summer yet. I'm booked almost completely solid, every single day, until mid-July. Whew.

Sihaya Designs Custom Work Request, updated July 2008

Please describe the type of jewelry you would like (earrings, bracelet, necklace, etc):

Is this a sacred piece? If so, please describe to me the energy you would like this piece to convey, and/or what aspect of Deity you wish to work with:

What stones, colors, and/or shapes would you like to see in this piece?:

What metals would you like (base metals, brass/copper, gunmetal, sterling silver, gold-filled)?:

Do you have any metal allergies?:

For earrings: do you have any finding preferences (ie, leverback, hooks, studs, kidney earwires, etc)?:

For bracelets and necklaces: do you have any finding preferences (ie, toggle clasp, lobster clasp, other clasps)?:

How long would you like your piece to be?:

What is your budget for this piece?:

Do you have any timing considerations?:

Custom work policy: most custom work operates on a six-week turnaround from the time of payment. This allows me to special-order any components or gems your piece requires. If paid via E-Check, processing will begin once the check has cleared. If this is a rush piece and my schedule allows, I will charge rush fees and you can get your piece faster. If for some reason the piece will take longer, I will do my best to notify you in advance.

Your custom work will be listed in my shop. Please check out as you would normally, and once payment is received, I will begin processing your piece. When it is ready to be shipped, your piece will be mailed USPS priority with a tracking number, unless you require express shipment or special consideration. Our standard packaging includes a cotton-lined gift box with our special logo and ribbon trimmings, but customized gift packaging is available upon request.

When you are finished filling out this form, please send it to me via the Conversation application on Etsy, titled "Sihaya Designs Custom Work Request." This will ensure all our correspondence stays together for a smooth transaction.

Thank you for choosing Sihaya Designs-- I look forward in working with you to create something special!

Things are good. I'll say that. My dramas of late have been relatively minor and easily solved. I could get used to this. In fact, I've been in an obnoxiously good mood of late.

Cut for length.Collapse )

I have spent the bulk of the evening being totally unproductive and stalking the Melodia Designs eBay store. They're uploading new and post-Tribal Fest goodies. Those medium 34" black sashes will be mine. *is determined*

In other stupid news, I think my favorite pair of jeans have given up the ghost. I've had 'em since high school, and the zipper will no longer stay up. Since I've not really worn jeans since college, they were my last pair (that fit, anyway-- my size 8's fall right off). I looooove Lucky brand jeans (mostly 'cause when you unzip 'em, the fly says "Lucky You," and I find that illicitly hilarious). But I'm wondering if the VS jeans that lift your tush up would be tacky or wonderful. Hmm. Deep thoughts.

*returns to stalking Melodia site*
