Virgo:: Have you heard of the Lorax, the fuzzy yellow hero of the Dr. Seuss story? When a greedy factory owner moves into his idyllic little paradise and begins despoiling the forest, the Lorax complains on its behalf, saying, "I speak for the trees, because the trees have no tongues." Be like the Lorax, Virgo. Stand up for those who are too meek or weak or inarticulate to defend their own interests. It's the right thing to do, and besides, by doing so you will make connections that generate lucky breaks for you.

1. You know it's going to be a great day when you start it off by dripping Krazy Glue on your favorite pair of pants. I don't know if it's going to come out-- maybe if I wash them enough it'll start to break down, or at least get faded and pliable enough where it's not noticeable. Other than that, I'll soon be in the market for another pair of black Express Editor pants. (Why is it always the super-expensive ones?) I mean, I have a couple pairs of Correspondents, but still, waah.

2. Silent Hill was the crappiest piece of crappy crap I have seen in a very, very long while. No, really.

3. Anna graduates today! I will spend the evening celebrating with her in decadent style. Or, you know, maybe just getting a little punchy. But regardless, yay! I am so proud of you!

4, 5, and 6, wherein I talk about makeup, smelly things, and animal testing.Collapse )

7. TGIF. I'm off on Monday, thank God. Actually, I don't have a lot going on this weekend after tonight. I think it's a blessing. I've been asked to go a few places, including HFStival, but I really think that I just need a chill break. That crowd might send me over the edge. In all the stress, I've had remarkably little time to sit back and relax and get my head together. It's sad that I'll miss the Counting Crows, though. Oh, Adam Duritz, why won't you just come and perform 'Colorblind' in my living room?
