Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In October I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). Last Wednesday I committed genocide... Sorry about that,  db2305 (-5000 points). In June I gave insight2's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Saturday I helped herself_nyc hide a body (-173 points). I thought I'd already done this, but realised I delayed it to go on a quest for userpics/icons that proved fruitless. (That's what happens when you try to do this kind'o'thing at work - and probably richly deserved.) So I wrote all sorts of important sounding stuff that subsequently went the way of all flesh and now I have to do again.
Does bad karma happen when you set up an LJ for the purpose of reading other people's fic? My feeling is that it only does if you waste the opportunity to witter that LJ affords.
So, first post (at work again) and not much to say other than heigh-ho, it's Monday in Manchester, with a bit of sunshine and I'm wondering whether the weather (verbal infelicity right there!) will last until next week, when I actually go on holiday.
Probably not, but at least there's the whole no work thing. Sadly, this also means no internet, which is bad, bad, bad. But probably good for my eyeballs; by the time I get home I'm frazzled from all the glassy eyed staring at the computer that my job entails. Then I go online at home! Well, I never claimed to be a genius.
So, nothing of note to say, except, if you're not reading the Spanderfic from Rubywisp's 'thon, then you should be.....
