Thanks for kind comments on the last entry, for the two of you that still read this haha (I'm looking at you masako and elyse). Especially you, Andrea, it helped to put stuff into perspective a little bit better.

Things are going alright, so I can't/shouldn't complain, but fuck it, right? I always make super long entries, well, not like they used to be. Anyway. Leeet's start with some regular stuff. I had to get the brake pads and the rotors on my car replaced (it was making a LOVELY grinding noise) and that was quite a hit, $710. Uugh, I shiver just thinking about it. Well, on the credit card out went, because after rent I'm lucky if I have enough for anything. I had my yearly review earlier in the month, done by one of the ASMs (who had taken over after the store manager got promoted). I basically got the best ranking/rating that you could possibly get. Apparently not many get that, according to Luke anyway. But its definitely something to be proud of! Yaaay also means I'm getting a higher payout for my bonus and a raise. Fuck yeah. And then hopefuly this year we will have a good tax return between the beloved and myself...
Things between my brother and his gf are apparently getting serious, to the point where they wanna move in together. I'm trying to talk him out of it and at the very least wait a bit longer until he makes such a decision. Outs his first time living by himself (away from mom and dad), so he'd be paying higher rent, water, power, gas, cable amongst other delightful miscellaneous expenses that I don't think he's taken into account yet.
We are still waiting on the callback for Jon, I'm still hoping he gets the job.

Okay. Well, now lets see. I've been speaking lots with Tara lately (you remember Hippy, Andrea?)! I've been feeling lately like I ain't got too many friends, and that doesn't mean I have tho hang out with everyone all the time, but I practically have no contact with anyone otherwise, I usually feel like I'm being a bother. But yeah, Tara, Tara is going to be a mommy! She's expecting a baby boy!
I told her to send me a pic, and it toally cemented everything for me.
Anyway, cut it kinda short, Tara's father has officially disowned her and wants nothing to do with her and her baby boy. Her mother is out of the question, cause, well, she's insane. She was texting me worried about what her boyfriend's family will think when no-one from her family shows up for the baby shower. So I offered to come. She started freaking out, feeling that she guilt tripped me into coming out. I said "You wanted family, right?" She told me she was crying because I'm always encouraging her and telling her it'll be ok... Haha, of course I do. I love Tara so much, and she's means more to me than she'll ever know... And I just want her to be happy and well. So I called up mami so she can find out if she could find me some cheap tickets so I can go in the end of March for the baby shower. And I told her what happened and why I NEEDED to go. Mami felt terrible about it and wondered how a father could be like that to his daughter. She told me to tell Tara that she's considered family and whatever she needs she just needs to say the word.
So, I told her that and she said she cried some more. It totally wasn't my intention, but I wanted her to know that family doesn't always have to mean blood ties.

As of yesterday, my little brother has moved up here to MD with me. Well, not with me at this moment. He's gonna stay with Jon's mom for now while we find a new and bigger place. But I am excited, I miss my brother. My parents are also up here for the weekend... Ish. Dad leaves tomorrow in the evening but mom will be here until Tuesday.
I also got my employee review the other day and I'm apparently freaking awesome, lol. I get a really good bonus too (have to look at the paystub to see just how much after taxes), it was $875. And I get a 2% raise effective April. So that's an extra $600 a year. This is... Good. Very good. This feels really great! With Flex the most I ever got as a "bonus" was $375 and after taxes it was practically nothing. Two years with them guys too and no raise. Been with VZW since August and I already got all of this? Hell yes, I will work harder for you.
So let's see if we can make this a career. I get along very well with everyone at work, so either that means I'm growing up or I just don't work with shitty people anymore, lol.

Rawr, so I came back to MD as of Wednesday night. Got home around 12:30... And went right back to bed. Winchester hasn't left my side since I've been back. I start work again tomorrow. ;_; I don't wanna go back! I went to Cory's house on Thursday night for a while so I could give 'em their souvenirs and apparently I've been missed, lawl. Right. Sure.

I didn't really take any pictures after that, 'cept family pictures so my parents could see... That's about it, really. I just hung out with Nanda, Wilson and their friends for the rest of the week. Saw some of my family members and that was it. It was nice. I feel much more upbeat now. I should be alright. 'cept I still don't wanna go to work tomorrow, rofl.

The last two days at work I've gotten complaints from two customers because I wouldn't let them have their way. Why? Because their way goes against the rules... Well, at least the first one did. The other one, not so much. The first dude wanted me to get a new thing of meat just because he didn't want me to use the one I had at hand. There's still meat to cut, therefore, it must be used. He demanded that I get a new one and I stood my ground and told him, no, I have to use it. He got mad and bitched and then left. 20 minutes later he comes back with Mr. Y (who's a fuckhead) thinking that just because he's bringing a store manager with him, that's gonna change things. But what really got to me was that Mr. Y rolls up in the deli thinking he owns the damn place, and goes "Why didn't you cut his meat?"
He wanted me to open a new one, and I gotta use the one I got.
"No."
What?
"You do what the customer tells you. If he wants a new one, you get a new one."
No. I'm not, my boss told me to use the piece, I will. I won't open a new one just because he wants me to.
"No, no. You do what he tells you."
I'm starting to get pissed now, but I keep saying no. Why? Because I've gotten bitched out before for mistakenly opening another piece, so there's two pieces and blah blah... So Mr. Young is all like, "Well, I'll talk with Joanne about it, because ablakdgha kdfhgakdfg" I dunno wtf he said after that, I walked away. Nico gets the customer, BUT HE OPENS A NEW THING OF MEAT. DIDN'T I JUST SAY THAT YOU COULDN'T?. I don't care, whatever. The point was, that fucking asshole made me look like a retard in front of the customer by contradicting what I just told the other asshole. I know what I did was right, I've been working here for almost 2 goddamn years and that's what I've always been told to do. It's simple, if there's a small piece left but it's enough to give to your customer, you use it (unless its less than a quarter then the remains are used for something else or just thrown away), because if you open a new one, then the other piece isn't going to get used. Why? Because if you see a flimsy piece compared to a brand-spanking new one, which one do you think people are gonna use?

The other guy today, rolls up right after the closing announcement goes off. We've already taken down the last slicer and they bring it to me, because I'm doing dishes. So I hear the guy come up, and he asks if he could get some ham, and all I said was "We already took down the slicer!" BUT I'M JUST INFORMING THE PEOPLE UP FRONT. Because you know, I got the pieces, because I'm gonna wash them. So he goes "Whoever's back there isn't a very nice person." I ignore him and continue doing dishes. L talks him into buying some pre-sliced ham, and then he goes "Can I get some turkey too?" Dang, we give you and inch and you take a whole mile. Anyway, they get him some of the pre-sliced turkey. Hey, let me say it now, if he had been nicer, the rest of the crew wouldn't had had a problem putting it back together, but since he said that, they all decided not to do it. :D Besides, technically, we're already closed. So he leaves and 5 minutes later, MR.FUCKINGY rolls up in here again bitching about how I refused to cut the guy meat. I'm just standing there dumbfounded, but as soon as he said that, all my co-workers jumped to my defense with "She didn't say that! All she said was that it was taken down already! Besides, we're closed". So Mr. Y starts going off about how if there's a customer still in the store that they should still be helped so we can't take down the slicer so L counter attacks with "Well, when are we supposed to start cleaning up then? If we gotta wait for the customers to leave, do we just stand around here and wait for them then!?" Mr. Y started backpedalin' so much I thought he was gonna trip over himself. HAHAHAHA. But seriously, I was so fucking mad, but so happy that everyone jumped to my defense. I never get anyone helping me out like that, I'm so used to fighting wars by myself, that I never expect anyone ever to help me out, but it felt so nice how all four of my co-workers rapidly went and defended me. I mean, seriously though, if I'm still working here a year and a half later, you'd think that I must be doing something right, yeah?

But those have been my last two days, I dunno what anyone else would've done, but this is what I did. And I'm here to help you, be your server, not your fucking slave. But yes, two complaints two days in a row does fare well for me, especially since J has been on a goddamn warpath lately... I don't need this shit. *rubs face*

Seriously, spring break, I welcome you with teary eyes!

Alright! I'm back from Katsucon! Actually, I came back this morning but Jon and I just spent the rest of the day just chillin' in the house, so I didn't get around to uploading the pics. But here they are! :D

I took Lamona shopping today, and she was really happy hanging out with me. <3 I'm so glad for that.

I also went to Jenna's and Aaron's wedding today (Jenna is Jon's cousin, well, almost his sister). It was a beautiful backyard wedding, her dress was really pretty but really simple too which is why I think I liked it. No big frills or long tails. ALSO! I drank a few. Actually, it was a little bit of beer, but that went blah when it got warm. I had some Captain Morgan and coke. ahh. Of course Jon drove back. His cousin Jimmy (or James, whatever) came with us to the movies.

So, I saw X-3 today.

Bobby is a pussy. And why is that Kitty Pryde(the one that can go through walls) chick even in there? I know it was for the whole tension between Rogue and Bobby but blaaaahh. Also, ROGUE YOU TOOK THE CURE!? COOOMEE OOON!! NOOO! :( Mystique!! SHE GOT TURNED!! I know she'll be back to her old self though. And Pyro, why was he in there? PYRO SUCKS. HE SUCKS.
