Ship in a Day is a fast-paced online buildathon designed to challenge developers to go from idea to working product in just one day.

Hosted by the GitHub Community SRM, this event focuses on practical, real-world projects — no slide decks, no half-built demos. Participants will build functional applications, collaborate in real time on Discord, and showcase their work through live demos.

Whether you're a beginner looking to ship your first project or an experienced developer testing your speed and creativity, Ship in a Day is all about:

Rapid prototyping
Clean, working solutions
Learning by building
Open collaboration
