Shift Calendar is the full functioning, eternal shift calendar specifically for the professional firefighter, paramedic, EMS worker, their family and friends. No more checking shift cards to see if you will be working or off on your anniversary, birthday or other important events. This version of the Shift Calendar is configurable to present shift schedules specifically for the following: 24/24 for departments working 2 platoons 24 on 24 off. 24/48 for departments working 3 platoons 24 on 48 off. 24/72 for departments working 4 platoons 24 on 72 off. For departments working more complex schedules such as 24 on and 24 off for 5 days with 96 off as A-C-A-B-A-B-C-B-C-REPEAT, look for our ShiftCal Kelley schedule app. Newly released is the popular 48x96 for departments working 3 platoons 48 on 96 off as A-A-B-B-C-C-REPEAT. Search on Cal30 to see these other options. Shift Calendar provides for both Alpha and Numeric shift naming conventions. As of version 2.0, users can now keep notes on each shift day. From the setup ( i ) screen, you select Show ADO Days, then designate your shift/rotation and finally, what day your ADO falls on. This version presumes your ADO is on the same day every time, so if you work C shift, and your ADO is on Saturday, then every Saturday that C shift works, you will have an ADO day ( K ). With this new version, users can now customize their own shift calendar colors. From the Information view ( i ), select the Shift Color item to pull up the color selector. Keep the suggestions coming and we will keep making this app the "must have" for fire fighter/EMS professionals like yourself. 2.1 03/05/2010 By overwhelming request from users, have now added the capability to keep notes for each shift day. Simply touch the day on the calendar view to open a detail view where you can free-form type any information, notes, etc... that you need. Also changed the transition to the info view. This version will remain on sale at the .99 USD for one day after the update, then will return to the original 1.99 USD...so get it now while the price is down and get the benefits of the new upcoming update. 2.0 02/25/2010 Major Bug Fix! Corrected an error that a user reported related to not going past July 2010. Now it goes to January 2060 and beyond, but the tester got tired of moving ahead... If there are other issues, please post them and we will get them resolved ASAP. Looking toward future enhancements: For the moment, the price has been dropped until version 2.0 comes out next week which will allow users to enter detail notes for each date on the calendar screen. This has been requested and will be ready by next week, at which time the price will return to the original. Will be a free update for those who already have it of course. 1.33 02/23/2010 If you used the "Tell a Friend" button to send an email, you probably learned that the URL in the generated email is not correct. This has now been corrected and if you did use it you will want to re-send it with the corrected URL. In this version, we have corrected an incorrect URL in the Tell a Friend email from the info page so that it now shows correctly to: www.itunes.com/app/shiftcalendar rather than before when it said (incorrectly): www.itunes.com/app/shiftscheduler 1.1 02/19/2010 1.0 02/17/2010
