A friend asked me the other day if I had to choose between being deaf or blind which would I choose? Without hesitation my reply was, "Deaf". I am an avid reader of just about anything I can get my hands on and to lose the ability to read would just about do me in. I collect books like most women collect shoes, clothes and hand bags. (lol) I have an entire room filled with my lovlies. People tell me I should get rid of them, that they're just taking up space. I turn to them and say, "You're my friend and I'd never get rid of you." I sweep my hand from one end of the room to the other and continue. "Meet some of my other friends."

I enjoy writing as well. I write poetry and stories and am now trying my hand at fanfiction. My mom, for years, has encouraged me to grab all my poems and have them compiled into a book to be published. But, hey it's my mom and all mom's think their kids are talented; go figure!

I'm hoplessly addicted to diet green iced tea, moosetracks ice cream, chocolate (dark, yummy), coffee (two-fisted drinker here) and salt and vinegar potato chips. I rarely eat real food, it's a wonder I'm still alive.

I LOVE to ponder life, death, the after-life, reincarnation, past lives, astral projection, remote viewing, spiritual connections between all of us; fascinating stuff that is.

A few of the people I admire the most (real and not so real) are Edgar Cayce (the sleeping prophet), Nikola Tesla (inventor), Linda Goodman (astrologer, my first astrology book was her "Sun Signs", it started me on my path to astrology), Nostradamous (I don't believe everything he's written but he seems to have been one cool dude), Zecharias Sitchen (author of The Earth Chronicle series and oh my god if you've ever wondered if there is life "out there" you have GOT to read this series. He is no crackpot, he is well educated, well respected by his peers and one of the few people who know how to read Sumurian text, he's amazing), Abraham Lincoln (I must have known him in a past life, I love this guy), Jesus (a man who has perfected himself and became what we all, eventually, can aspire to be), Jane Austin (author), C.S Lewis (the story of he and his wife Joy made me ball my eyes out), Hatshepsut (female pharoh, totally unheard of, women just were not pharohs back in the day! She ruled Egypt for 15 years-now there was a woman who knew what she wanted and went after it with gusto), Houdini (would love to see what tricks he's got up his sleeves), Athena (greek goddess of warfare and wisdom), Sirius Black (come on, he's so damn sexy it should be illegal), Fox Mulder (I believe you baby, the truth is out there; now go find William), Isis (Egyption goddess) and so many more...
