I realised I haven't made a single post since October which seems like... quite a long time. Then I realised I haven't really made that much icons since October to make a post here which seems... quite horrible. I had to change computers in November and this new one absolutely killed my muse. Everything looks so different, the touchpad feels different and for the first time since making icons I see a tremendous difference between my icons in PS and outside of it. It's like the colours are sucked out of the icon after saving anything (even when saving for web) and I don't know what to do about it. :c Changed the colour settings to those of my monitor and this seems to do the trick.

Anyway, I scraped together some icons - some new and some... rather old(ish) but not yet posted - to get a new post up and to show you there's still life in this community. :3

I welcome you to the newest episode of "Icons I still have sitting on my hard drive and that need to get posted", The Vampire Diaries and Once Upon a Time edition. Clearly, I can't make an icon post without Misfits, so there are a few of these in here as well. This post mainly contains icons I've made for the7days and ouat_elite, so it's likely you've seen a few of them already... but I made some fresh, new icons as well (and a new default icon for myself, too).

I've got nothing much to say about this post... except that I seem to go through a Ewan McGregor phase at the moment (it's always kind of like James → Ewan → Jake → James → Ewan... etc.; and I watched Beginners which is why Ewan is my Scottish prince of the month now). Hence why there are basically almost only icons of Moulin Rouge in this post. And then there are a few Misfits icons thrown in for good measure that were still sitting on my hard drive, waiting to get posted. That's it, I don't feel like talking all that much today, so enjoy! ♥

Um, yeah, another post for theiconquest. I promise I'll stop spamming your flist... maybe soon. I've done every quest in Chapter One and feel like I'm done for now, but there are still a few icons on the pile (icon-talk battle, my trope-overdosed icons etc. etc.). Okay, so, another small batch for theiconquest - the Sidequests this time. The first one was to use a certain colour palette in your icons - the chosen colour palette also affected the style of the icons (first palette concentrates on colouring, second one on composition/complexity). The second sidequest was all about fairytale motifs - yep, Simon is a unicorn now, deal with it. ;)

There's also a picspam I made for the current challenge at smashingart. The theme was "I want to go there" and for me that's the UK basically. So have a lot of beautiful shots of the English countryside. :3

OMG first icon post here! *is so giddy* Okay guys, I made an icon community. Obviously. When I first started on Livejournal (years after starting making icons... and years after quitting making icons), I thought it would just be a place to randomly drop some graphics now and then to not clutter my personal blog. Then I moved my personal thoughts to LJ as well (because of reasons) and I started iconning again and cluttering my new-found personal journal with icons. As I'm not seeing this ending any time soon (you'll see why just shortly after this wall of text is done), I decided to make a community. People feel more comfortable following a comm and I'm totally understanding this. So, community.

I'm starting my very first post with a promotion. Most of you probably already know about "The Icon Quest". Those of you who don't: go check it out, it's lots of fun!
