my perimeter of wellness is shrinking. everyone I've hung out with in the last week is now plague ridden with the exception of Red, who has spent considerable time within the hot zone.

yep. it is currently 65.4 degrees in my office. I am wearing sneakers, kneesocks, wool trousers, a long-sleeve t-shirt, a hooded sweater, a wool wrap-as-scarf, a leather jacket and a fleece blanket accross my lap. fashion be damned. yeah, 65 is nice for walking around. but sitting still in 65 degree temp? jeeeezis.

So, i was supposed to hang with Simon for belated b-day shenanigans, but he had another b-day come up. Then I was thinking of hitting Sabbat, but my energy is waning and club often sucks on rainy nights unless fun people are there. I am half tempted to curl up with some knitting and more Heroes, but am getting a little cabin-fever. so....

Any of my yarny friends out there have a ball winder I could make use of? I have 800+ yards of beautiful lacewight yarn in hanks that need to be balled, but the thought of winding that by hand makes me want to hide under my couch in terror. I bought the yarn online, so I'd feel bad going to one of the LYS and asking to use theirs, and I want it all wound up before I go on mini vacation to mexico on Friday, so ordering one online is pretty much out.

Ooh, and wine. I haven't had a nice glass of wine ALL WEEKforgot about wine with dinner on Wednesday. WTF? who am I and what have I done with me?

i need to stop procrastinating on getting my last bit of home-work done. I've been up past 1 AM pretty much every night the last 3 weeks or so. not good when I still need to get up in the AM and I run best on 7+ hours of sleep. between my late nights and the dog not getting the memo about the time change and waking me by 8 AM weekend mornings, I'm turning into a zombie.*
