The combo oriented class in Shadowverse, Forestcraft specializes in playing multiple cards per turn, typically 90011110, in order to unlock powerful abilities locked behind Combo requirements.
A lot of the time, these abilities will be tempo oriented, and aimed at wrestling the board in our favor. A good Forescraft deck is a master at developing its side of the battlefield while keeping the opposing followers in check.
In the Blossoming Fate meta, Forestcraft has four viable decks. Roach Combo remains the most reliable choice, consistently rewarding player skill thanks to its ability to answer almost any board while dealing massive damage at the same time.
Fairy Tempo, Evolve, and Izudia OTK are also slowly rising in popularity, with each of them now capable of reaching Beyond rank. Since these decks play very differently from one another, Forestcraft may not be the most represented class at the moment, but it is certainly one of the least predictable at mulligan for opponents and more skilled.
Forestcraft Roach Combo
Built to unleash an OTK with 10113140, this deck looks to keep the opponent in check, draw cards, and deal some damage whenever possible to prepare for the lethal blow. To do so, the deck will rely on generating 90011110, used both to trigger our other abilities, but also trade away opposing followers.
Once in the later turns, 10113140 will be paired with 10112130 or an already set 10113210 to attack twice, after we buffed it through playing as many cards as possible.
Widely considered the hardest deck to play, the Roach Combo deck is also regarded as a fantastic archetype with an experienced pilot.
Forestcraft Izudia OTK
This deck is built around 10314120, which you want to play twice to unleash 20 direct damage. To enable this plan, the rest of the deck is heavily control-oriented, featuring a large amount of draw power.
One of the key cards is 10403120, which will most of the time draw into 10314120, since it is essentially the only card at that cost in the deck, alongside the single copy of 10111130.
Forestcraft Fairy Tempo
This is the Aggro version of Forestcraft, built to apply early pressure with 90011110, which becomes increasingly threatening if left unanswered.
Starting from turn 6, your 90011110 can even gain Storm thanks to the Crest of 10114110, allowing you to close out games efficiently, especially when combined with the classic finisher 10204110.
Forestcraft Evolve
If you are looking for a more midrange-tempo deck, Forestcraft delivers with Forestcraft Evolve.
This build focuses on maintaining board control and finishing the game with 10404110. Many cards in the deck are designed to cheat free evolves, notably 10414120 and its Crest, or 10414110, which helps recover Evo Points in the late game.
10313110 remains a very solid inclusion, as many decks struggle to efficiently clear the board it creates.
No Legendary Forestcraft Deck
Since Roach Combo can defeat opponents without relying on any Legendary cards, unlike the other Forestcraft archetypes, it stands as the best entry point for new Forestcraft players.
The real challenge of this deck is not the vial cost, but its learning curve. Mastering Roach Combo requires time and experience to fully understand its many interactions and decision points.
