SO, WHO WANTS THE ABRIDGED VERSION OF WHY MY COMEBACK IS HORRIBLY OVERDUE?!

On the way to California, the car decided to go "lol" and die. Only a couple hundred miles from Desert Hot Springs. Not only that, but there was tons of traffic and road construction on the way there and back. It was not fun. I think I was starting to lose what little sanity I still have from boredom. At least I wasn't seeing like 30529528758027597 dead, maimed, and twitching chipmunks in the road like that one time, but that's another story altogether.

To top it all off, I had shitloads of school work to do once I got back. Add that to my recent FFXII addiction, and toujourshotel (where I play Vaati, lawl), and shake well.

I need to get a job soon. Seriously. If I ever want to stop living with my parents at eighteen, which I do, believe me.

IN OTHER NEWS, MY PARENTS ARE BACK TO BEING ASSHOLES. LOL. :D

...You don't even want to know how visiting my grandparents went. Grandpa = Coolest person in the history of ever. Grandma = Good lord woman, how do you live with yourself? Seriously. Grow a fucking conscience.

I am in an extremely good mood as of this moment. One of my all time favorite songs is playing, I'm looking forward to FFXII, which I'm picking up tomorrow, and I just pimped my LJ with a new layout, since the old one decided to go boom. :D

I had the best birthday evar yesterday.

I woke up to find my mom making chocolate cake. Then, after the cake was ready, I opened my presents. I got a TV, a DVD player, some earrings, and a little dragon with stained glass wings. After eating some of the cake, we went out and watched The Grudge 2, which wasn't as good as the first one, but still pretty good. After that, we went off to Wal-Mart (damn I wish there was a mall nearby D:) where I bought Dirge of Cerberus, a Led Zeppelin CD, and reserved myself a copy of Final Fantasy XII. x3

Then, once we got home, I was able to get my mom to watch the Full Metal Alchemist movie. Bwahaha. >:D

Ah, fun times. Unfortunately, my brother got the new Scarface game. So I'm letting him use the Playstation. I haven't been able to start playing DoC yet. ;~;

It's a good thing he's my favorite brother.

During the summer I was in Canada, and I've been up to my ears in school work ever since. xD

There isn't enough time in the day to write down all the crap I've been doing. So I'll give you the abridged version:

ANIME VIDEO GAMES NEW CAT OMG CANADA HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COLD I STILL HAVEN'T FULLY RECOVERED FROM.

It's the cold of freakin' doom. I can feel it in my chest, refusing to go away. Even though it's been OVER TWO WEEKS SINCE I GOT THE COLD WHAT THE CRAP.

It probably isn't helping that our heat is out. The heater guy can't come out until sometime this upcoming week, so we're pretty much screwed. I'm sticking to my room, since my air conditioner doubles as a heater. My family wants to kill me in my sleep and steal it, but they haven't gotten me yet. :D

Oh, did I mention the AWESOME ROB ZOMBIE AND GODSMACK CONCERT?! I'm no longer a concert virgin. I also learned that my brother is a total dork at concerts. He just stands there staring at the stage blankly. xD

Once again, I'm so sorry for being away so long. Guh.

Some of you may remember that I live in the attic of an old victorian house.

Some of you may also remember that I had no air conditioning.

Today was a really damn hot day, and I was roasting to death.

But then, the angels sang out as I saw the box sitting on our porch.

It was the air conditioner that my parents had finally saved up the money to buy.

Temprature before AC: 96 Degrees. Temprature after: I have no goddamn clue, I'm too comfortable to get up and check. :D

PURE. JOY.

In other news, we finally got rid of the Christmas Tree. I was sad to see it go. :(

I bought Tales of Symphonia a few days back on a whim, and it arrived in the mail yesterday.

The game is much more awesome then I expected it to be. :3

You have your not very bright but well meaning main character, his magic-using super smart best friend who's always getting smacked around by everyone, the stupid blond girl who is totally going to get together with the main character before the end, and just happens to be the one chosen to save the world, teehee!, the badass jerk of a mercenary, and the obligatory healer, who has a stick up her ass.

Ah, good ol' unwritten rpg law. How I love you.

And I've only just scratched the surface, because apparently there's eighty hours of gameplay. -instert heart attack here-

You know, the first time I heard the term "Human Ranch" in the game, I was like "OH SNAP THOSE DESIANS EAT PEOPLE LOLLOLLOL!"

So, I go with my mom to the video store out of boredom. There, they have a table piled high with video games that says "TWO FOR FIFTEEN DOLLARS (or one for ten)". Most of them were crappy sports games, but when I got to the bottom of a particularly tall pile of crap, there sat Devil May Cry. Both my brother and I had been wanting that game for a long time, so I was a happy panda. :3

THE GAME IS A BARREL OF AWESOME. Unlimited ammo rocks. I hate having to hunt down obscure boxes of ammo while being chased by monsters that want to rip off my head. D:

You know, I got it mostly for my brother. But he rarely plays video games. He prefers to watch me play them, for some reason. Whatever, more fun for me! xD

Sorry for suddenly dropping off the face of the earth. I got Kingdom Hearts II three days ago and have been playing it whenever I have spare time, which means no LJ for me. x3

I don't know quite how far I am in the game yet. 22 hours, I believe.

GOOD GOD, I WANT MORE OF AXEL IN THIS GAME. His voice is just...wow. And I've always liked the over-confident bastard. :D

Dude. Valor form = TOTAL WIN. I love it even more then Master form. Which I need to start leveling up. When my brother first saw me using it he was like "OMFG THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!" and I was like "YEAH I KNOW. :D"

I haven't used Wisdom form once. xP

I spent all day yesterday with mom. For obvious reasons. :3

I made lemon bars for her. Everyone loved them, and they were pretty damn good.

We watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and just basically sat on the couch all day watching TV together. Mom didn't want to deal with the crowds everywhere. xD

I also drew her a picture for mother's day, because I forgot to buy her something at Walmart. >>;;

It wasn't an eventful mother's day, but it was fun. ^^
