Dear participants,

Greetings!

We are happy to inform you of the final selection dates and the two stages of the Smart Hackathon - Sustainable Rural Development 2021 (SH-SRD 2021), organized by SRMIST-UBA, jointly with IIT Madras Second Round Selection, are planned as follows.

·       Day-1: 22-OCT-2021 (Friday): Presentation round by the team online. 5-6 teams will be selected for the next round out of 15 teams in this stage.

·       Day-2: 23-OCT-2021 (Saturday): Presentation by the team for the final selection of top 3 teams out of 5-6 teams. The prize distribution ceremony is held on the same day.

Three winners (First, second and third) will be awarded the prizes in each theme (Renewable Energy/ Water Management/ Waste Management). 

 N.B.: The entire events of the second round will be held online through https://devpost.com/, and we will contact you through the same portal for further processes.

Kindly prepare well for the final event. We will contact you soon with the final dates!

All the participants who have submitted your idea for the SH-SRD 2021 will receive the participant's certificates.

Our SH-SRD 2021 has two selection rounds.

Every team shall be allowed to participate in round 1. (Round 1 get completed, no further nominations)

Top 15 teams/theme get selected for round 2.

People who are selected in round 1 are going to have an event on 22nd and 23rd of oct 2021.

On 22nd we will further shortlist 5 from 15 teams.

On 23rd, the top three winners (out of 5 teams) will be selected and awarded
