When using iOS devices there are many standard services that are used such as push notifications, the App Store, activation or enrolment into an MDM Server. All these services require certain ports and servers to be reachable by the iOS device over the network.
Sometimes a firewall may be blocking certain ports and thus breaking some services.
This app is a quick way to test whether these ports and services are reachable, thus greatly speeding up the troubleshooting process.
Especially useful if you are on a network you are not familiar with.
The app has two modes:
The general mode checks whether key Apple servers and ports are open and reachable. Great for troubleshooting issues with services such as push notifications and activation.
If you are using your own server/MDM solution you can test the reachability to that server and key services running. In the list we have added 3 popular MDM solutions with their key services. You can also add your own server to the list.Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

How to install Services Test on your iOS device:

- Once the Services Test is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Services Test is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
