Sentinel Secure 4.0

Sentinel Secure by Kryterion, Inc. is a locked-down testing application used to deliver online-proctored exams through the Webassessor platform. It creates a controlled environment on a test-taker’s computer by restricting access to other applications, websites, and system functions while an exam is in progress, helping protect exam content and integrity.

Key capabilities:

• Secure lockdown that prevents application switching, new browser windows or tabs, copy/paste, printing, and screen capture during the exam.
• Pre-exam system checks to verify network connectivity, camera, microphone, and other required hardware for online proctoring.
• Detection of disallowed conditions such as multiple monitors, remote desktop sessions, and virtual machines, with guidance to resolve issues before starting.
• Encrypted connections to Kryterion’s delivery servers to safeguard exam content and candidate data.
• Seamless integration with Webassessor for scheduling, launch, and submission, so candidates start and finish within their Webassessor account.
• Built-in troubleshooting prompts and links to Kryterion support resources if setup issues arise.

Sentinel Secure runs only for the duration of the exam session and closes when the exam ends. It is available for supported Windows and macOS desktop environments. For current system requirements and download instructions, please refer to Kryterion’s official documentation.
