SendWhr enables you to send your current GPS or Network provided location via SMS to any phone number you specify as a link to Google Maps. This works for both Android, iPhone and Windows Phone recipients - and results in their maps application being launched with a marker at the location you have sent.
Double-tap the screen to set a specific location, which is displayed in blue. A red marker is your current GPS or Network provided location,
Your locations can be stored for later. Simply tag them with a message and use the menu option "Save for Later"
New option "Open In Maps" allows you to open your logged locations using Google Maps, allowing you to get directions to your waypoints.
Can be used to:- Let others know where you are.- Store way-points (such as where you parked the car - to do this "Save for Later" and then "Open in Maps", thus avoiding an SMS network charge.).- Arrange places to meet or be picked up from.
This application is ad-supported, but ads can be removed via a £1 in-app purchase.
