I watched the first two episodes of Friends With Benefits this evening. It was okay, but I find most sitcoms kind of annoying and this wasn't an exception. I might keep watching though, I enjoy Danneel being on my screen. Maybe I'll crossover-ship her character with Genevieve's character from Flash Forward. Or with Kris from Wildfire, because I was a bit in love with her.

So, I just signed up for spn_j2_bigbang. In case you haven't noticed, one of my favourite fandom hobbies is signing up for things and then failing miserably. As fun as that is, I really want to succeed this year.
So! Who wants to hold my hand? Any tips on not failing? Anyone willing to kick me in the ass if I show no signs of trying? I really want to motivate myself to write more this year, and this feels like a good place to start.
In two weeks I will have internets again, and I think I'm going to do a weekly big bang post with my word count and flailing and stuff. Just something to hold me accountable. I'm going to filter it so I'm not spamming people who don't care, so here's a poll.
Just so you know what you're getting yourself into, I'm going to be writing Jo/Kat fic, possibly in The End verse. I have two ideas for the same story, so I'm not quite sure how they're going to merge yet, but it's definitely going to be season five related.

- Yesterday, we went to look at a flat and on one of the walls was written: Marius was here. I loled.
- Trying to figure out my work schedule for the summer. Hopefully I will get decent hours at both jobs.
- Tonight, I might give the flat a tidy. Otherwisekiwiana's mum will judge us.
- WHY AM I HAVING A CONVERSATION ABOUT COLOUR WHEELS? You guys, I have no taste for these things, why must people insist in dragging me into it. I would just paint it all bright, random colours that clash horribly.

I had the best sleep ever last night! It felt so goooood. Anyway, I am being all responsible and not ditching work tomorrow to spend the weekend sitting in hot pools. Instead I am doing laundry, making fanmixes and working on my spnthreesome fic. Starting with the porn and then working out the plot is probably not the best way to go about things, but words are happening and I'm not going to complain. \o/

So hey, our city has been declared a state of emergency after an earthquake (7.4 or 7.1, depending on the source). kiwiana and I are extremely fortunate, we didn't lose power like most of Christchurch and there hasn't been much damage to our place. It's just a heap of stuff fallen of shelves and a lighting fixture hanging from the ceiling. We've both been on the phone off and on since 5am, making sure friends and family members are okay, and thankfully they are.
It seems that no one has been killed, two people are seriously injured. There's a lot of damage to some parts of the city, and to the water and sewage systems. We aren't allowed to flush the loo, and everyone has to conserve water. Most areas are starting to get power back now.
Also, people were apparently looting. What the fuck, people, who does that?
I would like the aftershocks to be stopping now.
ETA: One person has been confirmed dead from a heart-attack during the earthquake. Another aftershock of around 6.0 is expected in the next 48 hours.

I made them from this recipe, because in all my recipe-googling this was one of the few things I thought I could actually handle, and I mostly followed it. But the picture on the site is mocking me with its perfect frosting. WHATEVER, WEBSITE, MINE HAVE SPRINKLES AND THEREFORE ARE SUPERIOR.
Of course, I haven't actually tried one yet, so for all I know they could taste like shit. But they look pretty?
Now I am watching youtube clips of JDM flirting with Craig Ferguson, and tonight we are going to see Inception again. Yay all around! :D

So, this is been my main method of procrastination lately.
