Digital Media Specialists
Digital Media Specialists - SembraMedia
This team helps highlight digital media outlets from 20 Latin American countries, as well as from Spain, Canada, and the United States, that produce original content, provide a public service, and work with independence and transparency.
As part of SembraMedia’s ongoing research, they map and analyze the independent digital media ecosystem using information provided directly by the outlets themselves—through surveys or interviews—or collected from publicly available sources.
Their work makes it possible to create the profiles featured in the SembraMedia Directory, a rigorous, updated, and contextualized knowledge base that supports the programs and initiatives we lead to strengthen the sustainability of journalism in the region.
In addition to their work as SembraMedia consultants, many of the digital media specialists are also journalists, educators, and entrepreneurs. The specialists have no administrative responsibilities within SembraMedia.
