About us
Semantic Materials: End-to-end, comprehensive knowledge management services
We provide sustainable, FAIR data systems to integrate complex data in materials and manufacturing R&D. We work across Europe to help companies benefit from AI initiatives. Therefore, our focus is on improving the success of AI through better data organisation and high-quality, science-based knowledge graphs.
Our team of experts and partner organisations work across materials and computer science, physics, chemistry and engineering with industries and academic consortia to deliver complete solutions.
We can facilitate your transition to semantic-based data with solutions tailored to your needs, or through collaborative efforts in our industrial consortium.
Our core team are authors of the EMMO ontology and have many years of experience working on collaborative projects. Consequently, we use EMMO and EMMO-compliant ontologies and offer full training in standardised data documentation, semantic data, and sustainable knowledge management.
Established in 2025 as a spin-off from several EU-funded projects, Semantic Materials now provides clients with comprehensive knowledge management systems fit for the future.
