Hello! I’m Jenny Maloney and I am a writer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. See Jenny Write is my space to create, and play, and talk about writing and the world. My goal is always to keep you up past your bedtime, with a flashlight, saying “just one more chapter.” Anything to do with crime, horror, or science fiction is my jam.
Theatre is a passion of mine. I was a member of Springs Ensemble Theatre for a decade and I’m still active in the theatre community of Colorado Springs. I produce, direct, perform, and design. My adoration for Shakespeare is probably unhealthy, but the only people who love the bard more than theatre majors are English majors.
For my day job, I am an writer and editor focused on the crime genre. Police procedurals, mysteries, psychological thrillers…I tackle all of those. I have a BA in Creative Writing from CSU-Pueblo and a Criminal Justice AAS with an emphasis in Investigations from PPSC. Writing and editing crime stories blends two of my loves.
I reserve the right to change my mind at any time about what I post or when. BUT, if you are a creative person with a passion for stories, this is should be a fun place to hang out. Please comment with your own ideas and thoughts–I love to have discussions. The only rule is to not be a jerk to me or anyone else who’s visiting.
