2 months, 3 weeks - It’s hard to overstate the impact of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Since its launch in spring 2015, the fandom has grown, Netflix adapted the books for streaming, and developer CD Projekt Red released a bunch of additional content. Let’s take a look at that last one: here’s everything added to The Witcher 3 since launch.

3 months, 1 week - DLSS 5's AI generated game "enhancement" has gone down like a lead balloon in the gaming community. But there's plenty of love out there for the humble Game Boy Advance, a dinky little machine with a 16MHz processor that could barely handle more than 20 polygons on screen. And still, I'd rather play V-Rally 3 on the Game Boy Advance than see another frame of Starfield being butchered by Nvidia's devisive new tech, that takes infinitely more energy to generate than the twin-AA powered GBA could ever dream of. Maybe we need to consider that less is more. Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 undoubtedly look better with raytracing enabled, and technologies like DLSS and AMD's FSR have been crucial for achieveing it. But is DLSS 5's AI filter a step too far?

4 months, 3 weeks - In today's Daily Fix:Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 titles have been revealed, and there are some big open-world heavy-hitters. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 all make their way to the service, among other games. In other news, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline in just a couple of months—not to be confused with Call of Duty: Mobile, which is still going strong (and also has a battle royale mode). And finally, a toy set from the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie may have spoiled the reveal of a beloved NES character.

5 months, 3 weeks - Rumors have been circulating that CD Projekt Red has a brand new expansion in the works for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to hold fans over and set the stage for The Witcher IV’s eventual release. This is awesome, and has us wondering what other massively successful games released a decade or so ago could also sustain a similar approach? We’ve seen Skyrim and Fallout 4 get the occasional upgrade patch or small content drop, but surely if new story content was added, there’s a sizable audience for it? Hopefully these Witcher 3 rumors hold true, it would be nice to see more of Geralt sooner than later. Beyond! 6 months - In today's Daily Fix:The Witcher 3 maybe 10 years old, but that's not stopping the rumor mill from suggesting new DLC is on the way. Via IGN Poland, sources have apparently been aware of plans to drop a new expansion featuring the desert region Zerrikania. CD Projekt Red has not confirmed anything, but they have reportedly been dropping hints. In other news, Nintendo has revealed a new set of Joy-Con 2 dropping at the same time as the new Mario Tennis Fever game. "Light Green" and "Light Purple" will retail as a pair for $100. And finally, a new Xbox Developer Direct is dropping on January 22, and will give us first gameplay of Forza Horizon 6 and a fresh look at the Fable reboot.
