Adalberto Kutuxidis har gillat dettaAdalberto Kutuxidis har gillat dettaDemorei um tempo para pensar exatamente no que escrever, mas vamos lá. No dia 1.º de junho encerrei meu ciclo junto ao Sidia. Foi um ambiente interessante de trabalho que realmente me proporcionou muito aprendizado. Entrei ainda em 2012 como Desenvolvedor Sênior. Trabalhava com TV Digital para dispositivos móveis e conheci ali a plataforma Android. Desde então, o Android e o Linux têm sido meus principais ambientes de desenvolvimento e me proporcionaram um grande crescimento técnico. Aprendi suas nuances internas, como processos se comunicam — foi bom. Depois assumi a liderança da equipe à qual pertencia. Apesar de poucos e do enorme estresse e pressão — a equipe, em seu auge, tinha 6 desenvolvedores, e no pior momento, 3 — pudemos realizar diversos trabalhos na área de multimídia dos quais me orgulho. Fui líder, mas também não podia me dar ao luxo de não estar com a mão na massa. Aprendi muito com meus colegas e espero ter ensinado um pouco também. Depois a equipe cresceu, viemos a pandemia e acabamos trabalhando também em plataformas que permitiam trabalho e uso remoto de dispositivos. A equipe ficou responsável por diversos aplicativos na Amérs que se transformaram em patentes, diversas provas de conceito — e também foi bom. Por fim, já no final, trabalhei mais focado na área de telecomunicações. Novamente uma equipe muito pequena e sem tempo para respirar. Ainda assim, foi possível rever os processos, montar sistemas de verificação, eliminar trabalho redundante e sair de uma condição de incêndios constantes para uma situação de razoável tranquilidade — inclusive com projetos que aboliam a necessidade de ambientes de laboratório caros e disputados. Foi bom. O trabalho foi constante. Nos últimos dias não havia tempo sobrando para absolutamente nada, ainda assim consegui desenvolver ambientes de simulação com múltiplos dispositivos, usar IA para auxiliar e depurar automaticamente fluxos de mensagens SIP, simular redes, montar interfaces de gestão de múltiplos dispositivos e integrar plataformas de teste desenvolvidas por outras equipes. Foi uma loucura divertida e, novamente, aprendi muito. Nesse trabalho pude contar com a parceria especial de Eduardo Sardinha a quem deixo meu respeito e admiração. Gostaria realmente de ter ido um pouco mais longe e tenho onde posso caminhar. Foi bom, e serei sempre grato portudo que tive. My talks usually have a lot of slides. Technical diagrams. Code. Memes. Jokes. I navigate. I demo. I lean on the visuals. This one had 12 slides. Almost no code. No memes. No jokes that landed before minute four. No slides talking about myself, no achievements shown, no huge numbers. And then I walked on stage and discovered there was no second screen for my speaker notes. For 20+ minutes I paced. I talked. I tried to remember a script I had written and rewritten for weeks. And I tried to make sure the one thing I came to KTH to say actually got through. When the Q&A started, the students asked the questions I had been quietly hoping someone would ask. The thing I wanted to convey... actually got conveyed. The typing has been automated. The thinking has not. Thank you, TEDxKTH Salon. 🌹 PS: It was awesome meeting Maja Bosnic📍 discussing what we like and don't like about Sweden, and getting a push for not using any cue cards during the talk. And I enjoyed Anna Norelius's talk of why ideas don't land when pitched. And as someone who has built dozens of useful apps not reaching even a hundred users, I made sure to understand how to land them well. PSPS: Still waiting for official pictures. All the dungeons are generated by meshing rectangles together, creating a more organic like dungeon. You can easily create caves, castles, and dungeons fully randomized from that.
The code is very clean and well commented, and very modular. That means that you don't have to understand the core of the engine, just how to set and start the generator. Everything else can be adjustable…This engine works as a starting point for every Dungeon Crawler / Roguelike / Hack & Slash game.

The engine came with a "GameExample" content, using some free sprites from Dawnlike (made by DawnBringer), and showing how to use the generator.
