Happy Thanksgiving!

November 24, 2025
Koda Thanksgiving 750x500 V2

This Thanksgiving, before the mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, our hearts are full of gratitude for you. Your compassion and partnership give all of us at San Diego Humane Society so much to be thankful for. With your support, lives are changed and second chances are given to animals in need every single day and that’s truly something to celebrate!

Our community is made extraordinary by people like you who care deeply about animals and those who love them. Together, so much has been accomplished this year — and it’s all thanks to your kindness and commitment. The inspiring story of Koda, featured in the video above, beautifully shows what’s possible when compassion leads the way.

As you watch his journey from hopeless to healed, please know that every wagging tail, every happy purr and every life saved happens because of you. The entire San Diego Humane Society family is deeply grateful for the difference you make.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving!
