I have been convinced
Vic convinced me to try again and play a Ordo Covenent. After being reaquainted with a bunch of friends, Matt Brooks asked me nicely to play his Daeva's childe... so here I am looking at making a Daeva Ordo. She'll be an intellectual "blue stocking" from Paris having been embraced during Napolianic era of 1804-1814. While having been whispered about for "knowing things" she would still have understood society and how to be the socialite that would have been expected. Being Napolianic, she would not have been nobility but probably the daughter of a general. Other than that I don't have any real history yet, so if you want to add in email me or put something here of how (or when) you want to hook in and we'll work it out. |

Its been a tough couple of months. Mike has been plauged by depression and other health issues which finally culminated in a heart attack. it was mild and caught soon enough that there is not any really indication of further problems for him. It hasn't been easy to be online or deal with other issues. I miss all my friends though, and hope that I can get back in touch soon. my email is scurnutt@gmail.com if anyone has been trying to get ahold of me :) |

the Comic
(47% dark, 39% spontaneous, 55% vulgar) |
your humor style: VULGAR | COMPLEX | LIGHT
Yours is the most versatile and also the most popular kind of humor. On the one hand, you'll crack a joke about just about anything, but you're not mean-spirited or intimidating, so you can get away with it--even when, for example, you bust on Mexicans. Even though you appreciate a good dirty joke as much as anybody, over all, you've got a cerebral approach to humor. In fact, you appreciate all well-crafted humor. Now just go out there and write up a routine; it's likely you'd be good at it.

Real Update *gasp*
Ok... well... its been forever since I wrote in this thing... sorry. Well. We are all moved into the house and settled in. Gabriel is going through the terrible twos and being a handful....but he's a beautiful handful. I love him. For those interested... Photos of GabrielI'm playing in a few games online... Silver Dragon Castle and Tears of the Sun. Both Garou OWOD Troupe games. I'm enjoying myself, especially in SDC... its an interesting concept and the people there are fun. Sadly, thats about all the update I have. Gabriel takes up most of my time, which I suppose is as it should be for a stay at home mommy. |

Ok...well...week from hell...month from hell.... The following loved ones passed this month: My Great Uncle Herman, whom I spent summers with as a child riding horses on his farm. Dad Dinkmeyer, as the name suggests, a man close to me as a father. Margret Lee, friend of the family, accomplished accompanist... Dad Miller, friend of the family, close as a father as well... GiGi... Mike's grandmother.... They will all be missed. Mike left on Tuesday for the funeral of his grandmother. I didn't get to go, staying home instead with a sick child... He will hopefully be home tomorrow... but its lonely dealing with it alone... for both of us. |

I know...I know... I've been exceedingly terrible at looking at LJ. I love you all...really.... and my new crack SWG has kept me busy... but don't worry... I'm starting to come out of my SWG induced coma.... really... Kinda have to...both my boys are sick... Mike and Gabriel are both showing signs of flu... so here I am... working things out to make them better...I hope...that with me being light headed/dizzy... so probably fighting off the same thing. Bah...humbug. For those that are actually on SWG.... I'm on Valcyn server... Katima is the character name. Mike and I will hopefully be moving by the end of the month. Our house (which was supposed to arrive to the retailer on the 18th) has been pushed back a week to get to them around thanksgiving instead, which means a week after THAT for setup on the lot... Its going to be the end of the month or begining of December before we get to move in. Was rather disappointed about the time change, but I'm just anxious to get into a MUCH bigger place. ICC was great for me though, despite the con plauge, I had a wonderful time with all my friends there. I got to spend most of my time talking oocly to friends and just enjoying the company of other adults. I really needed the vacation... It wasn't even so much about the role play.... I played very little... it was just good times with good friends. |

Oh my parents would have a fit...and my husband say I told you so...
You Are a Liberal Republican |

When you tell people that you're Republican, they rarely believe you.
That's because you're socially liberal - likely pro-choice and pro-gay rights.
You're also not so afraid of big goverment, as long as it benefits people and not politicians.
You are the most likely of any Republican type to swing over to the Democrat side sometimes.

I have a new obsession...and it is good... and it is Star Wars Galaxies.... If you wish to know where I've been... that is it. Well that and I had family come down last week. If I don't always respond on AIM.... its probably cause I was doing combat and didn't look..... sorry about that. Saturday is my birthday, and my parents are coming down for it. They arrive around 2 or so on Saturday. While I can't wait to see them, I'll also miss Howl at the Moon because of their visit. Unfortunatly though, I can't really do much in the way of a party. 1. We don't have the room for it and 2. Most of the people I would want there from this area will be at Howl. Oh well...can't have it all I suppose. Speaking of not having room... We have everything ready to start buying our house. We have a lot to put it on. we decided to rent one since we are still hoping to get back to Kansas City in a few years. The house is a Modular home, which is like halfway between a prefab and a mobile. Its made like a regular house, but when it comes time to move... it will move with us...which is a plus. Its 2280 square feet of room. Plenty of room for a rambuncious 2 year old. I get my sewing room back, We get a guest bedroom back, and Gabriel Gets a playroom off the livingroom. It will be good. |
