1. Healthcare

The impact of technology on world class healthcare.

Wearable devices, remote procedures and applications will leverage and bring about a leap in how we extend, prolong and cater to our health.

The technological transformation of the healthcare sector in the recent years have offered numerous categories for progress, from Patients Applications, Hospital applications, Medical data management to wearables to monitor and predict our health conditions.

With over 70% of Singapore's population being under 30, continuous improvements to the healthcare system would definitely boost work productivity as well as the economy.

What will you create to help us become a healthier society?

2. Productivity (Education and work)

The world is adapting to the changes that this pandemic has brought about — even the way we work has changed, with work/study from home being the norm.

After more than a year at home,  individuals have established new models of work-life balance. While many are desperate for life to return to normal, some are less eager to do so. Working remotely has given individuals more space for long-term thinking and helped them spend more time with their family, providing  increased flexibility to employees/students. However, this pivotal feature of pandemic life has accelerated a long-running debate - productivity. While remote work provides substantial improvement to work-life balance, it can be challenging at times to stay productive to help you keep your work organized and stoke your motivation.

What productivity application can you make to help you stay organized and on top of your tasks while working remotely?

3. Human resources (Talent hunting/Human behavior/Hiring processes)

The rate and pace of digital transformation are impacting all business functions. Human Resource (HR) is at the center of this digital disruption yet they have to invent new ways to recruit and engage talent.

To be able to see the world through an employee’s eyes is something modern HR struggle to get across to potential candidates. Increasingly with the development of smarter AIs, algorithms, applications, and software, internal business leaders, software designers, product researchers, and even some start-up Tech CEOs have ideated and prototyped new breakthrough solutions for their respective organizations. Jet.com and DBS have been seen to embark on this journey to improve employee experience, develop new solutions and find better candidates to suit their organizational needs. One such example is PeopleWorks, which automate the applicant selection process which streamlines the laborious recruitment and onboarding process.

What change can you make to aid in the ever-changing recruitment issue?
