ScoreLynxPro is the next generation of the popular ScoreLynx app. ScoreLynx was the first and best golf leader board app available. But move over ScoreLynx because ScoreLynxPro is here. And now introducing the next generation of ScoreLynxPro. Version 1.2.x (y) is a major migration. See the What's new section. Along with this next generation version of the app I've also introduced a web version of ScoreLynx. This can be used if you have players in your game that use other mobile devices, or if users want to participate from a computer, or any device that has a browser accessible. The web version is a very scaled down version of the Apple application, so it can just be used for selecting a group/game, and then viewing scorecards, posting scores and viewing leaderboards. ScoreLynxPro builds on the legacy ScoreLynx experience of over 1 million scores, 10’s of 1000’s of users, and 1000’s of games played since its inception, to bring you a best of class golf leaderboard application to support all your group golfing needs, and also to support the management of game and skins payouts. ScoreLynxPro is also collaborating with top golf instructors to allow them to leverage your playing data, to tune and customize golf instruction to your particular needs. With the ScoreLynxPro leaderboard you will always know where you are in the field in casual or tournament play. The leaderboard will also show you up to date Skins game results as well as game and skins payouts as the game progresses. For wagering keep up on the competition even if they’re not in your foursome today. Supports a spectator mode, allowing you to watch a game even if you are not participating. Great for parents of junior players or if you just can’t make one weekend and you want to keep an eye on your golf buddies.
Version History Fixed bug with passwords on groups. 1.2.37 May 17 Added support for deleting and undeleting games, but only for an Admin user. 1.2.35 Apr 7 In addition to wind direction and speed the app now displays the yardage impact of the wind on a Driver (D), 7 Iron (7i), and Wedge (W) in a +/- distance. The calculation accounts for wind speed and direction relative to the orientation of your phone. 1.2.34 Mar 27 Added displaying wind direction and speed. Go to Leaderboard and select the wind icon. Point your phone in the direction you want to hit the golf ball, and the compass will show you the wind direction and speed. 1.2.33 Mar 27 Small bug fix when creating matchplay type games. Enhanced Group creation such that after creating a new group that new group will become the default selection on the group page, making it more intuitive. Also enhanced Group selection such that if one selects a group from their "Recents" list but the group has been deleted, a more instructive error message is displayed, directing you to re search for the group and choose from the Matching list. 1.2.32 Mar 23 This version adds a nice feature to the team and player leaderboards. Now when a leaderboard is refreshed you can see which team/player has changed position on the leaderboard since the last time you looked. Teams/players who improved on the leaderboard are displayed in green, those that declined in position are displayed in red, and those that stayed in the same relative position on the board, display in black. Try it out! 1.2.30 Feb 4 Made some widespread user interface changes. These are mainly styling and user interface improvements, but also this release brings us current with ios26. Some of the changes you may notice are: + pull to refresh (same functionality as using the refresh button, but more natural function) + improved swipe left feature so it doesn't auto select an item. You have to now explicitly select an exposed swipe left function (e.g. edit, delete). You now have the option of cloning an existing game(s). You invoke by swiping left on existing games in your groups games list. In addition to the existing Edit and Delete options there's now a Clone option. Selecting it will create a copy of the selected game but with the current data. If the original game has games mirrored to it, then the newly cloned game will also create new mirrored games. NOTE: you may still need to go in and update things like course, game type or skins or other attributes on the new game. You also will need to add teams/players/scorecards to the new game. An exception to that is Scramble type games. If the original scramble game was set to auto add teams, the new game will be created with players and scorecards auto added to it. 2. Some additional checks and alerts have been added when updating an existing game's game type. If the new game type differs from the original (i.e. a team game vs a players only game) then you will be warned that the existing teams/players/scorecards will be removed. 1.2.27 Jan 21 Fixed bugs: - occasionally the groups page would go blank and the app needed to be restarted to resolve - when keyboard was shown on some screens the view was improperly formatted, making it hard to use the screen 1.2.26 Jan 19 Add ability to use voice to enter and post scores. On the ScoreEntry popup view there is a new icon in the lower right corner (looks like an ear). Tap that once to start speaking. The button turns into a Stop icon. You can say things like "Neil Par, David 5, Allan 4, Scott Birdie". An alert with what the app heard will appear. If you agree with the names and scores select ok to automatically post them. After posting the Score Entry screen is automatically dismissed. 1.2.25 10/22/2025 Updated ScoreEntry to NOT show junk list if showJunks is turned off. Junk list though will still display regardless of showJunks setting if the game type is YelllowBall, Take40, or Take10. 1.2.24 10/03/2025 Added a new element to the settings page to "Show Announcements". Now if you missed a prior announcement or just want to go back and see old ones, you can page page one by one to older announcements. 1.2.23 10/01/2025 Changed to only show relevant "junk" in the junk list depending on game type. E.g. if Take40 game only Take40 junk shows up, same for other specialized games. For general games the junk list contains all but the specialized junk. Also this version also reworks the score entry view. The junk list, which used to be selectable via the screen toggle, is now displayed on the same but larger view that contains the hole/name/score picker. This will make it easier when selecting junk qualifiers when posting a score. Also for specialized games that have specialized qualifiers, like YellowBall, Take40 and Take10, the qualifier list will contain only one entry. Tap a player to see the "junk details" for that player. 1.2.18 08/26/2025 Enhanced the score posting screen so that when posting scores if one posts or re-posts scores for all players on a card for a given hole, the score entry automatically advances to the next hole. When adding players to scorecards now the list of available players will show any players already on a scorecard in bold.
