Pioneering Optical Technology Since the 1960s

Scope Optics was founded in the early 1960s by the late Mr. Ahmed Abdel Azim, a true pioneer of the optics profession in Egypt. What began as a small operation has grown into the region’s leading lens manufacturing facility.

Today, under the leadership of Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Azim, Scope continues to push the boundaries of optical innovation — bringing cutting-edge German engineering and Japanese materials science to the heart of Cairo.

We are proud to be the first factory in Egypt and the Middle East to manufacture progressive free-form lenses.
