Classes Team
Bronwyn graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Syracuse University, where she earned a BA in Russian Language, Literature, & Culture. She first joined Compass as a tutor in 2022. Now, in her role as Program Manager, Bronwyn works with the Group Instruction team to provide high-quality test prep classes and academic support to students nationwide.
Bronwyn Galloway
Joanne graduated from UC Berkeley with BAs in Cognitive Science and Psychology. She has always had a passion for education, and has extensive experience in both tutoring and administrative work within the education realm. In her role on the Group Instruction team, Joanne enjoys utilizing her skills to ensure quality classes and provide support to students, families, and instructors.
Joanne Kang
Bryan joined Compass in 2011 and oversees the company’s entire administrative and events operations, leading the team that handles everything from practice test coordination to event logistics to first-rate client care. A trusted and familiar presence among counselors nationwide, Bryan sees that all programs and partnership offerings run beautifully behind the scenes, making it easier for counselors and our tutors to focus on what matters most: supporting students. Bryan holds a BA from the University of Southern California and brings a calm, service-oriented approach to managing Compass’s sophisticated logistical operations.
Bryan Kramer
Torsten holds a PhD in Theater History from UC Santa Barbara and a BA from Claremont McKenna College. He has more than 20 years of test prep experience and enjoys drawing upon his creativity and college teaching to help families navigate the admission landscape.
Torsten Sannar
Ella graduated from UC Santa Cruz with degrees in History and Art. After graduation, she worked in outdoor education and youth programs throughout Northern California. Her passion for problem solving and student success brought her to Compass. As part of the classes team, she enjoys ensuring that classes are accessible and productive.
