About the challenge

Techfest 2026 is SCDS’ flagship hackathon and networking event. It is going to be one of its kind - a 1.5-day, overnight experience where students collaborate on real-world problem statements, pitch to industry professionals, and connect with peers across disciplines. Dates: Saturday, 24 January, 09:00 AM to Sunday, 25th January, 6:00 PM
Venue: Lee Kong Chian Lecture Theatre (LKC-LT) Important On-Site Instructions
  • All participants must be physically present at 09:00 AM sharp on Day 1 to register and collect their goodies
  • If you are not present on Day 1 during registration, your team cannot take part in the hackathon. 
  • The Top 7 finalist teams will get the chance to pitch live on Day 2 to a panel of industry professionals.
  • Over $5000 worth of prizes, up for grabs!
  • A dedicated Networking Night will be held for finalists, where participants can gain practical insights, career advice, and industry exposure.

- Project story.

- “Video demo link” where you link your prototype introductory video.

- “Try it out” link to either your Github page where you have your code for your prototype or to a live deployment of your solution
