YLOD! YLOD! YLOD! YLOD!

Well apparently my PS3 has been stricken by the Yellow Light of Death A.K.A. YLOD and I am mad as hell.  My PS1 and PS2 still work.  Hell, I think my Sega Genesis still works!  My PS3 is 4 years old (bought it for MGS 4) and Sony doesn't even make this model anymore.  Have any of you dealt with YLOD and was able to get it fixed?  I guess I should be happy that I was able to finish Mass Effect 3 before the system conked out on me.

Okay, let me start this by saying that overall I'm really enjoying the game but these glitches are driving me crazy! I'm working on one side mission where you have to access terminals in the Citadel to get more information and now all of a sudden I can't interact with these terminals. I read that if you start another mission while in the middle of this one everything will get glitchy. Well of course, I'm finding this out after the fact! Hopefully, Bioware will put out a patch to fix this.

Some of these side quests are really dumb. It's basically the end of the world and people are still on the "can you like, stop what you're doing, saving the world and all and get me x-y-z item?" bullshit. WTF!? Your character should be able to say, "Look, damn it! I'm Commander Shepard and you're going to do what the hell I tell you to do!"

Oh, I'm playing as a paragon, BTW.

And some Mass Effect icons!!! I'm so geeked about the ME3 coming out tomorrow! I enjoy Sci-fi stories but I'm usually not into the space opera genre. There's something about the Mass Effect series that really captured my interest. The characters are great and the world building is just so well done. The story is very tense and serious yet there are still bits of humor here and there that make me laugh.

I procrastinated a bit too long and now all the Limited Editions of ME3 are sold out every damn where! It's my own fault. I had it on my Amazon.com wish list for nearly a year. I preordered the regular version from Amazon and bought the DLC from Gamestop today (can't lose that receipt). Hopefully it will be waiting for me when I get back home from work. :3

It feels great to be done with going to class this semester. I have more time to handle business and have fun. Got a haircut and then went to this awesome mexican restaurant called Uncle Julio's and ordered one of their combo platters. I couldn't even eat it all. I know what I'll be eating tomorrow!

School is kicking my butt this semester! I'm so glad that this is winding to a close. For some reason I've just been having a brain fart and this assignment that I should've been able to finish in my sleep (well maybe not that easy) is just taking forever. I have the attention span of a sea anemone right now. That is why I'm in the library... limited distractions.

I broke down and paid for my account. I can't handle only having six icons.

I always thought the 'friends only' thing was a little much but now I'm strongly considering it... Hmmm.

Oh no, I can only use six icons!!! I think I'm just going to grit my teeth and bear it. I don't use this thing enough to justify spending the money.

Just saw Limitless. Torn between saying it was awesome or s'okay. Weird. Definitely want some fanfiction with the Russian gangster character. Now he was without a doubt awesome! It's also nice to see Robert Burke on the big screen. He's such a handsome man good actor. And this movie also serves to remind everyone that Bradley Cooper's eyes are gorgeous. Sorta related, I'm so geeked about Hangover Part II but I don't get why Doug is missing again!? That dude can't stay out of trouble!

Just got Lupe Fiasco's latest album. Man oh man, am I disappointed. I remember seeing him in concert in 2009 and he was talking about Lasers and to look for it in 2010. This is what we've been waiting on for so long? Oh well, it's better than nothing but hopefully the next on will be better.

School is going decently. I think we're in week 10 (it's all a blur) and it's so hard to believe it's almost over. Counting the weeks!

Don't ever do that again. I'm a big James Franco fan and have enjoyed some of Anne Hathaway's movies but they were so not suited to host the Oscars. It was just very flat this year. Some of the skits were just painful to sit through (especially that autotune segment).

If James Franco wasn't high I would be very surprised.
